When it comes down to it, in my own words, the meaning of everything happens for a reason is that everything is happening in a way that will benefit you and I in the long run.

Call it fate if you will. All the road of life you are taking, will lead to a better road. It may get bumpy along the way. And yet the destination will be beautiful.

I think that there is definitely a karmic element in all of this to where certain things happen and it could be that we are essentially paying back karmic debt. I also feel that everything happens for a reason to help our souls grow and allow us to become more. So that ultimately we can be more fulfilled and give back to others to help them become more fulfilled.

So the phrase everything happens for a reason, has to do with you and I being able to look back one day and connect the dots. To embrace the fact that we will not know why we are going through something at the time. But when we get passed certain things in life, it all starts to make sense.

The term itself really has to do with trust and faith. Trusting and knowing that you are going through things for a reason. It can give you peace with the knowingness that comes from the term.

That you are, in a sense, guided by a higher power. And it is giving you various trials and triumphs to make you into the person you are capable of being and becoming. The true and highest expression of yourself. A walking masterpiece.

So at the end of the day, I believe that everything happens for a reason. I am still not sure why, other than the fact that it seems like the universe is helping us, sometimes pushing us to the place where our soul needs to be.

I truly wish I knew more on why everything happens for a reason. But the only real solution I can think of is that the world operates with perfection. I mean it is so good at what it does. Just look in nature, and you and I will witness miracles happening. All day everyday.

Although humans have freewill. So at the end of the day, maybe things happening for a reason looks a little different with us because of the fact that we need a little more course correction than organisms without freewill.

But I truly feel that the more I embrace the idea of fate, the more I feel that things in my life happen in a way that are benefiting me over the long haul.
