Quotes About Truth
In the last couple of years, I have been infatuated with finding the truth to life. I started meditating, started reading more. Becoming way more open minded. Trying to consume as much as I can to what I believe will lead me to MORE ANSWERS!
Have you been here??
There was just a big shift in me, at a certain point in my life, where I wasn’t satisfied seeking happiness and contentment though traditional means.
I guess I got to a point where I had done a lot and had a lot. But still wasn’t fulfilled. And I knew, in my heart of hearts, that there has to be more to this life.
I started with the question of “Who am I?”
A place that felt right for me to start. Like, what am I doing here? Is there a God? Is this all just a big dream? Etc.
Ever since this shift, I have found more fulfillment with life. For, like the Bible says, “Seek and ye shall find.” The more I search for answers to this human existence, the more I come across content and people that know more than me. That I can educate myself from. And begin to expand how I see this life. Expand my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual capacities because of it.
I know some people find truth through church or religious pursuits. Others do so through intimate relationships. And some do so through meditation.
I am now a big advocate of using almost anything to find more truth. And bring more tranquility in my life because of it.
But on the other side of the coin, I have found that the more I seek and the more answers I get, the more questions I pose to myself!
But hey, I guess that is my path. And I am down to go as far down that path as I can with the time I have left on this earth.
And there is another side to this story. For a time, I was simply more or less OK with lying. And didn’t really get that made when I was lied to.
Essentially I was living in a dillusional world. And I had enough of it. I seek to tell the truth all the time now.
Now I know I won’t have a perfect track record. But I don’t put so much emphasis on saving face anymore. I would much rather just tell the real truth and get on with things.
Anyways, rant over!
